korg , sonar and protools. please help

so this is a complex disater my drummer is creating simply. we have been working on a demo. the drummer has a korgD3200 works great for drum and bass live audio capture. i run sonar x1 (x2 im waiting for a update) with a asus fx990 16 gigs ram 3 drives 2 in a raid with 1010 soundcard. and my drummer..

Multiple tracks in 1 instance of Kontakt with Sonar X2

Can someone please tell me step by step how to setup multiple tracks in 1 instance of Kontakt with Sonar X2 instead of using multiple instances of Kontakt for each track? Thanks, Damon..

X1 won't play- Solved-Rec & play timing master.

Had a lock up Would not complete processing a track to mono so I ended Sonar with task manager. On rerun, it could not find my sound card/interface, nor would it play. Got that sorted with rebooting the interface a couple of time and rerunning Sonar, but still no songs play and the now time doesn't ..

Sonar x2 synths take 2 mins to load. SOLVED

Going to be on the road for a few months. Will be using laptop instead of studio daw When I load a synth (even tts-1). It takes over 2 mins to load and give me back control. A little pencil laughs at me on the screen as I click and click.. Ideas? I 7 8gb ram dell laptop, used to work well. Btw this ..

Sidechaining with Alloy 2 in X2

hey guys, just did another fresh install.. on a new pc. I am running the latest patch of X2 x64 but now suddenly i can't sidechain in Alloy 2?? why is this happening? all my sidechaining is gone, I hope I can get some help, I am trying to final mix this song...

My friends have given me a song they want me to learn, its in mp3 format. They originally recorded it in D, but now they want to play it in C. How can I import this song into HomeStudio 6 and shift the entire pitch one whole step down but keep the tempo the same? Can it be done?..

Keyboard shortcut for Edit/Delete Special?

Hi. Is there any way to create a keyboard shortcut for Edit/Delete Special in X2? Unless I'm mistaken, there appears to be no option to bind this. I do a lot of voice editing so I'm accessing this every few seconds. Until now it's always been there for me. Thanks David..

I'm not too good with drums but I am hoping to learn. I've got Sonar Home so theres no step sequencer in there but I am using the PRV to do the same job.
