Weird scrolling problem in clips pane

What the heck just happened? When I scroll through the clips pane horizontally, it goes so fast that a 2 cm move takes me to the end of a 200 measure piece! It just started doing this today. I can't recall making any changes that would cause this. Using Sonar 8.5 Producer. Cakewalk user for 15 years..

mute/solo snapshot?

Hi - i'm just starting with snapshots & it looks like there is no way to automate mute/solo except in real time or drawing an envelope since they are grayed out. It wd be a nice feature to have for snapshots. Am I missing something? Thanks...

Smart Tool + Slip Editing Bug!

Update: Confirmed w Tech Support that this is indeed an "issue/bug". Although it took me a while to get them to recognize that it isn't working the way it should. Problem report has been logged. Workaround is to hold down F8 while using the Smart Tool and it allows you to do the slip edit. Note that..

Sonar X2 Fade

So I just spent the last 3 hours in X2 trying to insert a simple fade at the end of a song & I can not figure it out. In older versions of Sonar you just click & drag at the end of the clip, easy. I'm about to toss the pc out the window...

Worrying changes in audio tracks playback where tempo changes involved

Here's the project: a half dozen MIDI tracks playing back via a drum machine and my Roland Fantom X6. There are occasional tempo changes in the song, e.g. going in and out of choruses and to make a slowed ending. I had vocalist sing a vocal track the other day and all was ok on the day playback-wise..

Template types

I'm new to Sonar x2 and am learning my way around it. My question for now is what are the different template types? When I go to the template menu it shows type A, type N, or type S. Can anyone shed a little light on what the differences in these templates are? Thanks..
