Upgrade from Sonar X1 LE to X2 Studio

I just got Sonar X1 LE for my new Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit PC and I want to upgrade to Sonar X2 Studio. 1. Do I need to complete deinstall Sonar X1 LE first and if yes 2. how ?(the "uninstall X1 LE" entry under "programs" will most probably leave some remains in the registry or file systems. 3. May..

Is Cakewalk having issues with serial #'s?

I bought the Pro Channel pack about 12 hours ago and I am still waiting on serial numbers - does anyone know if Cake are having issues at the moment with these? Thanks..

VCC (Slate digital) and ProChannel

Hey all, For anyone in the know of VCC, I've read the SOS review and they mention it should be inserted in the first FX slot of each channel. If your using Pro channel also, then how do you make sure that VCC is doing its thing first...

Improving my workflow

Looking into improving my workflow and have a couple of questions: How often do you use the Smart Tool? Besides the Smart Tool, which other tool do you find yourself using the most? I still feel a little overwhelmed having to toggle between clips and envelopes when editing tracks. Any tips/shortcuts..

Setting up a master bus

How do you route all of your buses and auxes through a master bus? I see where I can designate a bus as default, but what else do I have to do to get the other buses and auxes through it? Thanks in advance. Any other creative bus routing things you guys use on a regular basis?..

V Vocal greyed out on some clips only

Hi, I've come across a problem: V vocal is accessible on some clips but not on others, even 2 clips in the same track, on one v vocal works and on the other it is greyed out. I've checked the properties of the clips and all seems the same. I'm tearing my hair out. Can anybody help? Asus, corei7, Win..

Automating PC EQ....

Could someone else try this and see if it is just me? I tried to automate the "power switch" of the pro channel EQ. I only needed the EQ on a small section of a track so figured I'd just automate it and turn it on and off as I needed it. I used the automation lanes to automate the EQ on and off. Fun..
