Linux Ubuntu Studio and Ardour

I like to make field recordings and so I've been using a laptop, but my laptop needs replacing. I have a great laptop for work, which I could use for the field recordings. Why doesn't nudge work in PRV when only the clip position is locked?

I can move notes by drag-and-drop, but not by nudge (numpad keys). This isn't good. It's not clip data that is lock, only the clip position...

Solved: Bar graph animation disappeared???

Overnight without doing anything, the bar graph animation in the track view (on the far right) has stopped working on both audio and midi tracks. VST Plug-ins problem

Some of my VST Plug-ins don´t open although I can find the .dlls in the VST folder. Several scannings of the VST folder didn´t help... Other audio plug ins work but mostly my guitar plug ins (like guitar rig 3 or 4 and amplitube 3 or Ozone 3) fail to open. Simply nothing happens. Any ideas besides n..

Recording Count-In Visual Confirmation (X2a)

In earlier versions of Sonar, when beginning to record audio without using a metronome click, there's a visual line of text at the bottom left-hand side of the screen showing the countdown to the start of recording. I don't see this in X2. Has anybody found a setting that can restore it? Thanks, Jer..

hi all, is there a way to import WAV files into the same track in successive order into the same Sonar track? Session Drummer 3 - How Do I RECORD

I am new to SONAR X2 ...and cant figure out how to RECORD the patterns in Session Drummer 3 into a track.. It opens up, loads and plays OK..If I press the orange wave icon and then Record/Arm as normal it appears to record a line but nothing plays back...? Any advice would be a help..
