X2 : My impressions so far

Any free or demo version VSTi that responds to BS messages? What MSB value does it use?

PRV: Top Note Of Two notes- Different Tracks, Same Place- Becomes White

In Piano Roll View, if I place two notes from different tracks in the same place, the top note becomes white. Is this normal? Can a setting be changed to prevent this?..

pops/clicks during multitrack recording/playback using Sonar X2a but not Reaper

I have a new DAW system I build that I have been trying to chase down issues with for a couple months now. It's an 8-core AMD Win7 x64 system with 16GB of ram, SSD, and a (legit purchased and registered copy) of X2a producer, along with Reaper. My audio interface is a pair of Focusrite Saffire Pro40..

Problems installing X2 Producer when C: drive has limited space

Beware that the SONAR X2 Producer installation will fail if your C: drive has too little space available, even if you don't put the files on C: drive and don't want to use the C: drive for software installation. It appears that your C: drive has to have somewhere upwards of 6 GB free for the install..

Process -> Transpose - change stereo tracks to mono

Can anyone confirm this. I'm transposing stereo tracks - songs for my band to play eg.Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. When I transpose them using Process -> Transpose, the tracks end up being in my preferred key but mono. Is this normal? Is there a way to keep them stereo?..
