Project won't record

I recently went back to a project file I worked on last year and I add a new track and I arm it and then press record and nothing gets recorded. Creating a metronome bus?

I'm creating a project from scratch - simple little project, only 4 tracks required - and I'm wondering, how does one create a metronome bus? I'm guessing that I need one in order to hear the metronome, as I've got all the settings for the metronome adjusted in the Preferences section. Thanks!..

How to mute all lanes on tracks marked for record?

Delete blank measures after song ends?

I've got a song with dozens of blank measures after the song is suppose to end, and I can't figure out how to delete them all. How do I tell Sonar where the end of a song is? I've done it before, but can't remember how I did it.....

poor "half speed" recordings

When I record guitar and then process the audio clip to 50℅ and pitch raised by 12 (to obtain the Les Paul effect) the process takes ages and on play back I'm getting a horrible hollow after sound with the original signal. NOT SOLVED?: X2: V-Vocal no longer mutes underlying clip?

In X1 (and every version of SONAR since V-Vocal was introduced) creating a V-Vocal clip automatically muted the underlying non-modified clip. In X2, at least on my machine it no longer does that and I have to manually mute the underlying clip so as not to hear the tuned clip with the original. Anyon..

Win 7 and touch with X2

I have read and seen X2 working in WIN 8 with multi touch support. Does anyone know if X2 also supports touch for WIN7? I imagine it would be as robust as it is with Win8 but does it go beyond the standard WIN 7 OS touch support? My issue is that my external hardware doesn't have WIN 8 drivers yet b..
