I have a Guitar Pro MIDI file... What can I use in Sonar to play it?

I was sent a Guitar Pro file. I exported it to a MIDI file, want to hear it in Sonar. But, not sure what kind of Synth Sonar has that can at least somewhat simulate a guitar. Heck, I don't even care if it sounds like a guitar. Anything, something cool just not piano... I tried sending the midi track..

hot key turns off pro channel or other- SOLVED = E

Every so often during key strokes, the levels drop on several tracks. WTF? Lol I find various settings changed. Next time I'll study it closer, but so far I just adjust several things getting it back to previous levels and I'm not sure exactly what happened when. After the fact, I suspect I'm hittin..

EXPORT MIDI DRUM MAPS

Hi I have mapped my midi drum grooves and insert Cakewalk TS-1 as my soft synth. How can I export this midi drum map, keeping all the timing and tempo changes. The plan is to import then back into a say cubase..for further mixing and then mastering thanks so much..

Copying a Track

i'd like to copy a track from 1 project to another. can this be done in 1 step, or do I have to load the same soft synth (and parameters) in a new project, then copy all the midi/automation afterwards? thanks...

X2a : a long time to open a project ...

Hello, I have created a new project with sonar X2 and when I try to open it takes several minutes, a very, very long time... but the project is quite simple. Is anyone have this problem before and knows if there's something to avoid it ?..
