Audio Snap Locks up System

Greetings All, 'Just had to rebuild the DAW PC after Windows Update corrupted the registry... Rebuilt using a manufacturer's (ADK) restore disk and reloaded all software and drivers. Everything looks to be working - EXCEPT - I'm using Audiosnap (Audio Transients clip edit mode) on two backing vocal..

Is there a link telling how to use sounds I have loaded in the pads with the rest of my tracks, but only in certain sections - the chorus for example? How would I get that saved for mix down? Thanks...

A Forum search found nothing so far... Is there such a thing as a file (with data etc) to load into Sonar X2 that provides an idea of the CPU load? I'd like to run a comparison with an older PC and my newer Windows 8 64 bit i7 3820 cpu (16GB). Thanks...

XL Essential to X2a thoughts...

I've always had the full compliment of templates from which to choose (like stereo mastering etc.) and now my only choice is "normal". Tried the help files, (Global settings and such) but can't retrieve them. Any suggestions? Thanks..
