potentially lost another project in X1. **SOLVED**

been working on this project for several months now and just the other day found it wouldn't open. X1 is stuck trying to open it with the blue spinning circle that indicates it's loading - but it doesn't. i left it spinning for hours. I tried all the tricks, ie, safe mode, no plugins.. etc.. restart..

Mixing down to MP3 is there a proper way to do it!

I must be mixing my songs down differently to how I used to, or something is adding artifacts to my MP3 mixes of my songs now, the WMA file of te same song doesn't have an problems. Is there a idiot proof way to mix down to MP3 format from 24/ 48 to 16 bit 44.1 then MP3 128 Any Help graciously accep..

Well this is strange. Some vocals takes I made for a client over the weekend have now vanished. Equally strange is that none of my projects playback now. lost all of the icons / toolbars, how do I get them back? i must have hit something to remove them.. why is ther not a TOOLBARS/VIEW menu?!?!?!?!?!?! If there is, then where is it??!?!?! Its called the CONTROL BAR..

Have a laptop, USB only with no slot to insert a firewire card. Is there a device available that will let me connect my firewire interface into the USB port of the Laptop? thanks.......
