Can you record from a ¼ headphone output jack?

I have a bass amp that has a ¼ headphone jack, will I get a good recording if I take the signal, run it into my digital interface and pipe that into Sonar? Or should I use the XLR output into my interface? If the ¼ jack works, will it produce the same quality as the XLR? Would rather not h..

Snap tool changes regardless

Why does the snap tool change from whatever I set it to? I can set it to 1/8 and later it is set to something else. Sometimes even as much as 1/1. Thanks...

Have you found that X2 is more stable, less quirky if.... 1. X2 was installed as a completely new install with no previous installations of Sonar? 2. Has anyone used LEARN with ACT to remap certain things on the A-Pro? I spent just a few minutes yesterday, could not get it to EARN anything..I don't have any real experience with this function...anyone got any tutorials on this? Any would be helpful.....

Loud white noise during playback...help.

So I recorded some work and then play it back to adjust levels and add fx. All of a sudden I get very LOUD white noise. Almost like the project dropped out and then I just get full volume white noise. Any clue what I am doing wrong? Another thing that may be part of the same problem is that for that..
