How do the stock plugins compare?

Just curious to know how the fx plugins that come stock compare to 3rd party. The ones I'm mostly curious about are the things like EQ, Compression and anything dealing with mastering. Are they pretty good?..

Writing for drums, how much time should I allow for a drummer to swtch comfortably from brushes to sticks and vice versa? Brickwall Limiting?

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong here... Using the Concrete Limiter I'm trying to reduce a few select peaks that have been yielding -0.6 or -0.3 in the final mix while the average peaks for the piece are at near -1.2 So I would think that if I set my threshold at -0.9 and my ceiling at -0.3 m..

Where do Smart Loops files go?

I downloaded the free Smartloops pack (nice). They are a bunch of wav files for building drum trax as I assume you know but I have not done yet. I unzipped them but am not sure what folder to put them into? If I open (some drum plug or other), will they automatically show up? I have had some frus..
