Problem accessing files

When I try to open some files I get this message: "This file already exists. Please choose a different Project name." will old 32 bit Sonar projects migrate to X2 64 bit?

This is such a basic question...but a forum search did not return anything. Question: Will my old Sonar 8 32-bit projects open in X2 64 bit? If they do, I might not install the 32-bit version of X2. I know some plugs could cause problems. Thanks-..
