Is X1 and X2 similar enough that watching X1 mastering will not confuse?

Hey all, i just started my 30 free subscription to Groove3. Wanted to know if X1 and X2 are close enough that watching Mastering with X1 will not be confusing. I know this sounds off putting, but it's going to be hard to watch everything I want in a month, so I want to watch what's going to matter m..

I have Logitech x230 speakers for my computer. They come with a subwoofer. They sound fine to me but i'm not sure if they are totally ideal for recording music.
