Rewire grayed out -- why????

Some of you might have seen my thread about switching over to 64-bit. So far, everything is amazing. One issue, though: Sibelius 7 won't show up as a rewire device. Export midi / vst BFD2 / instrument as audio

I needed to export audio to indidual tracks to send out to be mixed. I froze the BFD2 soft synth and then exported the audio which was created when the tracks were frozen. Is this the correct way to do this? Or is there a better way? Also when freezing, does the audio created adhere to the bit rate ..

overdriving the master?

Of course I'm trying to get the max final volume, but I see the red light (between the "Post" and the "Off/On" buttons) on the Master flashing at me and assume i'm over driving it, even tho it is not peaking on the meter. Is this a bad thing and, if so, what do I look for? (It does sound a bit raspy..

Using 64-bit now.... will NEVER go back to 32-bit!

I just bought a new Toshiba laptop that came with Windows 7 64-bit. So, I installed the 64-bit version of X1 .... wow! I encourage anyone who does any recording to start using 64-bit...

Export is out of time

When I export to wave (using "What you hear" option), the resulting wave file has screwed up the timing of the tracks. The harmonies are lagging and leads are a bit off. Any idea why? Thanks. - Jim..

Sound distortion independent asio driver buffer size

I use Sonar X2a in W7, with ASIO4ALL driver and a buffer size of 512, and sometimes sound like distorted fails. When that happens, I extend the buffer, reset the audio engine and the problem goes away, but then it happens again with the larger buffer. Again I leave it at 512 and it works perfectly, ..
