Want to adjust the PC of two tracks at the same time. Not working.

I'm quick grouping then holding Ctrl while making my adjustments. It kind of works at first but then they end up totally different after a very short while. I know there is a way to do this but with all the linking, grouping, etch options I don't know how to just make these parameters effect two tra..
