opening the backup versions is weird. how do I specify 32 or 64bit? CORRUPTED CLIP

I had a corrupted audio clip in a project and it wouldn't play. I ultimately solved it by deleting that clip. But when I tried to open the back ups created by versioning, it said it didn't know what program to use. I specified sonar, but I think it used 64 bit instead of 32. It doesn't provide a way..

Setting up rewire

I never used rewire before and don't have a clue yet on how to use it. I have waves plugins and I guess Waves Rewire was installed. I just uninstalled X2 32bit and installed X2a 64bit. I noticed the 32bit version had Waves rewire that I could select from the browser synth section but it's greyed out..

Uninstalling 8.5 - will this harm X1/X2 ??

Assume this is an easy question; couldn't find the answer with forum search I want to remove 8.5 from my computer, but keep existing X2 (and X1) installs. Will this mess up the X1/X2 programs if I just run the uninstall for 8.5?? Thanks..

Did I miss this snap bug?

When I use snap to grid I have to keep it on all the time. If I shut it off, it will reset to a half note as soon as it's turned on. It won't remember it's settings when I save a project. I must be missing some setting because I've not really noticed it before. If it's a known problem please give me..

When I load a soft synth, it does nt sound. if If load for instance TTS Cakewalk synth, not only does no sound come out, but click on the 'sample button" on the synth itself produces no sound. Real Guitar comes out a tone higher

Can anyone suggest why Real Guitar audio is coming out a tone higher than the notes in the staff. Everything was working properly when suddenly I thought I'd transposed by accident, but I hadn't. Staff display is set to Octave Treble and I can't find anything in the interface that bumps the notes up..
