drop outs when recording live tracks

so what the scoop with the droputs is there a work around my delta 1010 buffers are up to 1024 and its backlash is givin me $#@% i have a delta card with a a 990xf MB with a scorching raid )0( setup so my dpi is low and transfer rate is great. iv tried everything but cant get 3 words in without a dr..

Aim assist bar - numerical readout!!!

AAAhhh...this is driving me crazy. I love the new Aim assist vertical bar...very helpful indeed!!! What is NOT helpful is the numerical readout that follows the position of the bar, obstructs the bar measure location!!! Recording guitar with just the amp plugin sound

How can I record a guitar direct in and just hear the amp sound through an amp sim without hearing the direct-in clean guitar sound as well? Does that make sense?
