LOSS OF SOUND

Hi guys, I have a weird issue that makes me unable to work. I'm working on SONAR 8.5.3 and Windows 7 64 When I add multiple instance of Kontakt (or play) somehow the sound disappear. I have all the levels working, I see that it produce sound... but nothing "reach" my sound card anymore (SONAR V-700R..

Recovering tracks from cassette - any tips?

I'm recovering four song tracks from a cassette - the only source I have for them. Has anyone done this and got any tips at all? The main issue that I notice is some sibilance here and there on the vocals. What's a good way of removing/attenuating this? Any help gratefully received!..

Multitrack audio recording - how many channels?

Best Technique for Fake Stereo?

Suppose I have a track (Rhodes, acoustic guitar, etc.) and I want to broaden it to create a strong stereo image. What is the best and simplest technique? 2 Mono or stereo Tracks to 1 Stereo track

Can't find anything on this obvious problem. Got 2 tracks which I recorded with right hand set of mics; and another 2 with the left hand set of mics (on a piano). Since I've not found any way to create a master bus, I came here to ask how it's done. If I accidently delete my master bus, how do I create a new one? Since I'm here, is an Aux track the same as a bus? If not, how do I create one? Thanks!!..

ESU1808 interface problems

I am using a ESU18089 interface but Sonar X! only seems to accept the odd numbered inputs from the interface.
