Sonar X2 studio locking up when trying to preview media

Right so recently switched from a MAC with garageband to a win7 64 bit PC for various reasons we won;t get into here... I decided to go with Sonar X2 on recommendation from a few friends. Runtime errors after X2a updates

TH2 Producer Bonus Presets

I was in my account and noticed a download for the TH2 Producer Bonus Presets. I did and now have a folder that I can't figure out where to put. They are listed a XML documents.Thanks for any help! I have a screenshot but don't see an upload to post it...

Oh man do I need help!

Had a project playing and started red lining the first thread on the cpu. Closed the project and reopened and got an error message. Something to do with required data. Now I get no sound and no cpu activity. What did I do?..

input volume too low

just up graded to a better sound card (realtek to echomia), and previously ive never tried to record any vocal tracks. in testing it out, ive noted with dismay that the input volume of the vocal track is extremely low compaired to the rest of the music (stuff id already composed on hs6xl). im runnin..
