Making patterns for BFD2

There's a very interesting thread on this forum at the moment about mixing in BFD vs mixing in Sonar. I wanted to ask the same question regarding making patterns. Do you prefer to use BFDs own pattern editor or Sonar's tools?..

Overall volume mixdown too quiet

I have what I think is a nice rough mix. Nothing in the 'red' in tracks and bus. Once I mix down and bounce to my iPod, the tones are all good but find myself having to turn up the volume ALOT during playback on a boombox device or car stereo. WHY??? Thanks!..

Where can I open the virtual instruments (ex, drums) in SONAR X2 PRODUCER TRIAL? Recording different tracks without using the transport stop key?

Is it possible to start in loop mode and record track 1, then disable track 1 recording and arm track 2 recording without using the transport stop button? Any suggestions to allow building up multiple tracks without stopping the loop? (I have Sonar Producer X2a) Mark..
