Sending tracks to other people

Hi I am a newbie so please forgive me if I'm just being stupid here. I would like to send single dry tracks of both midi and wave to my cousin so he can add bass tracks and send it back to me to mix. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to do this can anybody help? Thanks Tim..

Recording - Mixing Guitars

I seem to be getting good results with mixing however I am just not satisfied with how the guitars sound in my mixes. They just don't "POP" out or stand out, I don't want to say muddy, but kinda "blah". Any suggestions of what I could do to get them out front and "pop"?..

Where to save projects?

Is it still recommended to save audio to a separate drive than the OS drive for performance? Also if I'm saving project files with audio together should they be on a separate drive too?..

Can any Sonar synths be easily used as a tone generator?

OK i'm not a big soft synth user so this may be a stupid question, but say for example I wanted to generate a 400hz tone. Could this easily be done using any of the Cake options? Thanks in advance...
