x1/ Window 8 issues

i have Sonar X1 and just upgraded my computer to window 8... i know that sonar states they do not support sonar x1 on window 8, but reading some of the forums here it look like a lot of people are having success.... i would say xl is running not so good on window 8 on my Dell system.... what am i do..

The weirdest thing

Inserted SpectraFX in a CV track FX Bin, set it to Tremolo Reverb, went to Options/FX/Show Assignable Controls in the CV and there you see Pad X and Y Axis values ocillating back and forth mimicing the SpectraFX X-Y screen. I'm sorry, but that's... just... too... weird! What will they think of next?..

conexant hd audio sample rate

hi everybody! i'm having a problem recording with conexant hd audio on my laptop in wasapi mode. keep getting the old chipmunkey sample rate mismatch quality. sample rates are the same in the project and device settings. works as expected using asio4all - no chiptune. anyone ever get around this?? b..

Metronome Track in Sonar X2? How do I turn it on?

When I start a new project, and select the "Normal Template" I insert an audio track or two, a soft synth, but I dont see a track for the metronome. This is probably a REALLY easy thing to solve but I'm a bit puzzled, XD how do I add that metronome track/turn on the metronome?..

Geez, clip gain alterations are fiddly in Sonar

Anyone else bewildered by this? No one ever mentions it but the Cakewalk method is pretty lousy if you ask me. The temporary ALT key to make the scissors go is good but why the necessity to shift-click on the gain envelope in clip gain filter mode and then go to the top of the clip and drag in a new..
