What I bought.....

I decided to just keep my Sonar as is, and get a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer.....no more DAW's, no more guitars, no more amps, no more synths, and no more software.....that's right I'm going to get back into cooking food. The stand mixer will look great on my kitchen counter, and I won't have to worry ab..

Gibson CEO's next DAW?

I heard that Sonar is/was his favorite DAW. Just wondering if he's also looking for some cool crossgrade deal for old Sonar users? P.S. Henry (if you're reading this): Cubase Competitive Crossgrade looks pretty pretty pretty good... ;)..

Sonar in its current state vs. the competition

The fear of Sonar breaking due to a future Windows update may be irrational. It might work for another 10 years (or to the point where the current computer/DAW paradigm is completely obsolete). Let's also assume that Cakewalk somehow provides access to a version that can be installed using a serial ..

how to install the September version of Sonar

I did a reinstall of Windows this weekend and the latest Sonar versjon i buggy. Does anyone know of a way of installing the September version of Sonar. I dont have that option in Command Center because it is a fresh install...

Just wondering - How large is the Cakewalk userbase?

Does anyone on this forum have the answer - just out of curiosity. What I do know is that the majority of users will still be unaware of this latest development (or lack of) as they may only refer to the forum or support if they have a problem/query. Do you think Gibson should notify users by email?..
