ProChannel FX Chain question:

Suppose I load up all of my Waves CLA classic compressors in a Prochannel FX plugin Chain. I leave the plugs disabled in the FX Chainer. Do I lose any CPU headroom having them sit idle in the PC? I would guess that there wouldn't be any hit on the system until they are enabled...

"Visually" Missing Audio Issue

I'm currently trying to automate Gain in a session, since I find editing Gain vs. Volume allows me to adjust faders after the automation, not that this alone has any consequence to my issue here. Sonar 8.5 and audio interface issue...

Just wondering if somebody could help me out. I have Sonar 8.5 pro with a motu 2408mk1 interface...with the 424 pci card. As of late, I'm getting a pop up that says "no motu device found". OK-MAde it thru Company party with Focusrite 8i6 then returned it.
