Automation Visual Issue

Sonar X2a not cooperating with UAD

So, I insert a bus and place a UAD 2 duo reverb in this bus. I get the settings to where I want them and "save". Next time I open this project I have to re-install the Lexicon 24 reverb (even though it is still there, but not working) and re-adjust my settings. Anyone else see this? It happens whene..

X2a shutting down.."disc load"

Now with X2a "Disk load" will climb until it stops playing. It's not consistantly doing it. It will happen about 1 1/2 min. into a 2 min. tune. Didn't do it with X2. Don't know % it was- it wasn't shutting down so I didn't check it...

windows 8 upgrade question

I upgraded my laptop that I don't use for audio to Windows 8 by downloading the upgrade from MS and installing right over my old OS. It was a very easy transition Is this safe to do with my DAW computer or do I need to do a clean install?..

Can't load Maschine in Sonar

EZ Drummer Comp Room

Probably an obvious answer here, but I don't see this addressed in the EZ Drummer manual. On the mixer, there is a fader for Room and a fader for Comp Room. Is Comp Room the same as room, except that it is subjected to some sort of preset compression? Thanks...
