Choosing audio interface and other gear for studio makeover

Hey all. Looks like I have a wind fall coming. Going to be upgrading my studio in the new year. I've spent a ton of time researching the items that I'm going to be purchasing. Driver prob results in ssslllooowww halfspeed song - need chipmunk treatment!!

Sonar X2 Not responding after stopping playback

I have sonar X2 producer running on windows 7 home 64bit and when I go to play back songs it works fine, but as soon as I press stop it crashes and goes into program not responding. Anyone know how to fix it is driving me crazy...

Sonar wont open my projects......

Technique for Getting the Kick Drum Beats to Speed Up?

I´m looking for complete color sets (themes) for Sonar X2

What's yout favorite reference CDs for when you're mixing and mastering?

The subject line says it all basically. I am wondering what to use as reference CDs to make sure i get the spectrum of lows. mids, highs in balance, and instrument/vocal levels balanced, and the front to back / dry to wet settings balanced, for a mucis CD project i am 'producing' for a local musicia..
