intalling old software on new machine

I've installed Cakewalk 2004 xl on a new machine with windows 7. I do not have any metronome sound with the new machine. the only clue i can give you is that maybe its because the new machine doesn't have the same midi files to choose from? I have no idea how to run midi, i simply run my yamaha p-25..

Siibelius 7.12 and ReWire 64

AVID just posted an update to Sibelius 7 which now has ReWire 64 support. When I go to the media brower in Sonarx1d, ReWire in no longer greyed out. In fact Sibelius 7 is listed as a ReWire device. Warning on newest version of drivers for Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL and Windows 8

I keep having the settings in the UI for the interface revert back to 44.1 and a buffer size of 128, from either 44.1/64 and 96/128. I tried calling Presonus yesterday, but after forever on phone, their system told me they were busy. I will try again today. Bob Bone..

MIDI Note out of Range - solved

I'm exporting a MIDI track to TAB and I keep getting this type of output for every note to the txt file: MBT 5:3:0 : MIDI Note #8 out of range (pitch = G 2) I'm using SFZ with this particular track.
