Working with different MIDI Ch. per note

May be somebody can help me with this one. I have a track in which I am using 7 or 8 different channels for articulations. So I am thinking of using the change MIDI channel on a note basis method. Separate MIDI tracks?

I'm wanting to use the TTS1 EG I want a horn on track 1 and, say, a piano on track 2 What is the simplest way to do this? I assumed you would do the first track thru the browser(did that no problem) and subsequent tracks thru right clicking, making a MIDI track (did that and recorded a second track..

Metronome not lining up to the time line or the midi tracks

I have an issue that I have not found a solution within the forum. I'm running Sonar X1, not using any type of external sync, a pretty simple set up. I have a piece recorded at a tempo of 102 and all MIDI tracks were recorded at that tempo, there are no audio tracks, it's all MIDI. Through my own er..

HS7 fatal error

hello there....i was recording some music with some studio instruments when a message appaired on my screen about a fatal error ...freeze up my pc and now i get no sound ,there is no driver listed,i updated the driver for the sound card roland duo capture , if i switch the driver from asio to mme 32..

Benchmark shows Sonar performance identical in Win8 vs Win7

So, despite what we have heard, if you actually do the benchmarking, Sonar performs no better in Windows 8. Benchmark Results Here..

Donate for Sonar

Sure cakewalk can not put all their resources for debugging and fixes, so instead of us hoping for some things to be fixed and instead of whining, i thought that we should participate in this and donate money for debugging and fixes and improvements to the existing platform that we all love. Sonar X2 trial e-mail doesn't come -- a little help?

I am definitely, 100% buying Sonar X2. I just haven't had the money since it has been released. But, I am definitely getting it in December, undoubtedly.
