Editing in X2 - am I missing something

How do I select a group of clips? When I draw a rectangle to select a bunch of clips it also selects parts of other clips. I don't like this behavior. How can I make it work like before (X1 and previous version)?..

I know this is probably an area with lots of different and strong opinions, so I hope my question isn't too broad. Dollars are an issue, but I don't want to buy junk either. Length/duration of clip

When I record a clip in an instrument clip, the last event usually does not continue to the end of the bar so the clip ends at the point the event stops rather than the end of the bar. On the Fantom G I was able to stipulate the number of bars the phrase should last so is there a similar feature on ..

Audio Snap "Transients are being generated" SOLVED press "A"

I used Audio Snap to create some midi for drum enhancement (ala Seth and Brandon's tutorial). Now, how do I make it go away? is it possible to change banks / patches from a midi controller?

i feel this is honestly probably the biggest advantage for hardware synths. you can simply change the banks by pressing a button or turning a knob. i have never been able to figure out how to change patches in VSTis with a controller. seems like something that it should be able to do at a minimum!!!..

LOsing my VST plugs

THis is a crazy one. I have a project with two separate VST instruments. JAmstix and BFD. When I save and close and walk away and then reopen both plugs are gone and those tracks have become muted midi tracks???? Any idea on the issue? I have not had this with X2 before...

Crescendo Cal (solved)

Hi guys I'm been trying to get a 16 bar snare part to crescendo. I try running the cal file for it but it does not seem to work. What's worse? It only has two options and I still can't figure it out. Please help!..
