Frustrated trying to get an audio interface to work with Sonar

I am almost ready to toss Sonar, and use an iMac with Garage Band. I have both Sonar 7XL, and have even upgraded to Sonar X1 Essential. X1: Problem Browsing Exteranal Modules Instrument Definition List during playback.

In regard to scrolling through sounds while track is in play on external Sound Modules when using the Instrument definition list: In previous versions of Sonar I was able to click track properties, and under Patch...I could scroll through my instruments and listen to different sounds during playback..

Triple boot, XP, W7, W8 Help. Missing NTDLR

Auditioning velocity changes in PRV.....

In PRV...I used to be able to hover above the note and click to adjust the velocity...and I could hear the note sounding as I adjusted it. Now....if I try to adjust the velocity....I hear nothing. It is changing the velocity...but I can't "preview" the changes as I am doing them. Is this another set..

Changing the default plug-in menu layout

Hi, I can't find a way of getting Sonar to default to my customised instruments plug-in menu layout rather than Sonar's existing default. I've tried saving my layout in the normal template, and it works for FX, but not Instruments. Any suggestions? Simon..

Made the plunge to Windows 8 - 64-bit

The installation went smooth. I chose to "keep everything", and I didn't lose anything after the upgrade, as far as I can tell.
