Playing in LOOP mode goes out of sync...

Double clicking on an effect in a ProChannel FX Chain deletes it [NOT SOLVED]

What's up with that? I add an effect in a Prochannel FX Chain but when I double click it it disappears. What am I missing? It happens on Cakewalk and 3rd party plugs and it only happens on my desktop - not my laptop...
