Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 greyed out in X2

I have just installed a new Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 on my PC (i7, 8GB, Win 7(64bit) SP1. (I still have an Audiophile 2496 PCI card installed). Can someone point me to what I need to do in order to get the '=' key to behave like the '+' key as in previous versions? R-Mix don't show graphs? White window

Hello I wanted to try the new R-Mix in X2. Inserted an audio loop, and drag R-mix into the audio track. Open up R-Mix and hit play. Music plays.... Cakewalk Sound Center not accepting selected instrument
