No Audio Effects in X2?

I got Sonar Studio X2 and there are no audio effects at all. Sonar 8 Studio came with Sonitus and EQs and Choruses and stuff like that. Does anyone know what's up? Thanks a lot. Zoltan..

Anyone else getting this tracklane muting problem?

Besides the overlap muting tool not ever appearing, (reported and on another thread) If I record a take on a track,open track lanes & press the mute button for that lane,Then record another take (lane 2) and then delete take/lane 2, Take one becomes audible even though the mute button is still lit! ..

A Couple of questions RE X2 Smart Tool and PRV

I'm trying to do a project in X2. I'm also trying some new ways of doing things. Yup...I'm stumped. First of all my Smart Tool defaults to the little "draw" pencil. I want it to default to the select tool. In X1 it did and I could still insert notes and stuff at will. How do I get the Smart Tool to ..

Backup / transferring ACT mapping

I'm about to set up a new DAW and wonder how to backup / transfer ACT mappings. There is an import option in the Control Surface preferences section (don't know if that even is the right option to bring in custom settings) but there is no option I could find to export ACT settings ... EQ edit on just a small section of a track?

I want to change the EQ on a track on just a very small 2 or 3 second section. How can do this in a non-permanent way if I want to change it back? Is there some way to do an envelope with nodes to effect an EQ change?..
