Sonar X2 and Cubase 6

About a year ago, I was getting so many BSODs with Sonar X1, I switched to Cubase 6. It has some pretty awesome features, but I never got used to the awkward workflow (no smart tool, weird drum maps, no button that collapses tracks, etc). So when X2 came out, I decided to come crawling back to Sonar..

auto move clip when delete section

hey is there any way that when you delete a phrase from an audio clip, the whole rest of the clip will jump back in time to meet at the cut point, like in a regular audio editor. obviously this is not useful in multitrack projects, but for some of my voice-over projects this would come in super dupe..

V-Vocal automation under X2.

Hey does anybody know if it possible to automate under V-Vocal? I need to automate the Shift pot under Formant Control so it changes pitch (In a nutshell I need to pitch shift a vocal (up and down) on the fly as a performance. Thanks Alex..

Out of memory error

I get an out of memory error when I do a "clean audio folder" the program runs for 5-10 minutes, then returns the message below. I had this same problem with Sonar 6 and now in X1. Could I just have too many audio files in my audio data folder? - about 20 gigs in 11,000 files. http://i1073.photobuck..

trying to uninstall a program

I installed Fender Amplitube a few months ago, and now I want to uninstall it. However, when I click on the program to uninstall it, a box comes up that says, "Setup.exe has stopped working" - and it won't let me uninstall it. Any suggestions?? Thanks! Greg..

Odd problem, audio misalaigned.

All 8.5 projects I try to add new recording to in X2 aligns the recording about 50 ms late. All new projects record properly and as I overdub, everything lines up properly. This is really weird. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? This happened to me when I went from Sonar 6 to 8.5, now it ..

Too much midi / audio information?

Every time I do a lot of midi & audio work, copy pasting loops etc. Sonar freezes on me, the more extensive the editing, the more it does it. Am I just loading up too many undo points? Pop sound when hitting stop button

I am using X2 on Windows 7 and seem to be getting a popping or crackling sound when selecting the stop button. Recording and playing seems to be fine, it only happens when stopping. All tracks are midi with no audio tracks. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, James..
