Anyone else noticed this is now a slider and you can't type numbers in? Weird change. Really awkward to use...

where is the CAL editor?

Ok, I want to write some CAL scripts. Searching X1's help turns up zilch. Google turns up some 3rd party editor from Collusion Inc. Where is Cakewalk's programming reference for CAL? Where is Cakewalk's CAL editor? Has CAL gone the way of the 8-track tape? Thanks! Joe..

Before we had take lanes, I could just rebuild the layers and I could view all my audio clips when they overlapped. X2 - I've Lived With This PRV "Feature" For Almost 2 Years...

...but no one has ever mentioned it so maybe it's just me. To replicate, open a PRV view, controller pane turned off. Paint in a couple of notes and on my system it ALWAYS shows a velocity next to the note. Go to the "Notes" drop down and 'Show Velocity' is unchecked but still the velocity shows. Ch..

SI-Strings Inaudible with MIDI Keyboard not Soft keyboard???

When I use SI-Strings it works fine if I use my mouse to trigger the keyboard on screen. When I use my MIDI keyboard, the volume level is barely audible to the human ear. An old issue has resurfaced with X2

Just a minor issue, really. The "Master" strip meters will not stay in the dB format I put them in. After setting up all the meter ranges everywhere I lock the screenset and re-save the project. Upon opening it the Master meter is reset to the default 42 dB range. Nit picky, I know... but it shouldn..
