Please no install issues. Just probs using X2 after it is fully installed. None for me as yet but TBH I simply played a recent project in it. I'll be running it through some paces over the next few days...

Timeline stops abruptly after project begins

Sonar X2 with Windows 8 audio drivers

I was having a blast with X2 until I installed it on a Windows 8 RTM CPU with a Roland UA-25 EX box. The only audio mode that worked was MME32. X2: Muting MIDI notes using Smart Tool in PRV does not work (ANSWERED)

In PRV with Smart Tool activated, when I ALT+right-click a MIDI note, the note does not get muted as per specs; it gets erased. I have just submitted a problem report to Cakewalk about this. Does anyone else have this problem? I am running X2 on Windows XP, 32 bit...

Experience with X2?

Love to hear from anyone with experience with X2. Any problems? Should we wait for fixes? Also, wondering if they've at least gone back to the level of notation editing that was available in Sonar 8.5. There is really nothing on the website about notation. I always edited MIDI using the score view....

Migrating Old Projects into X2 (32bit 8.5 to 64bit X2) ??

Hi guys, Need a bit of help if possible... My brother just built a new computer with Win7 64bit OS and has installed X2 64bit as well. He took the RME sound card out of the old computer, which has 32bit Vista OS I believe, and installed it in the new computer. All drivers have been updated to 64bit ..

Duplicate MIDI notes - FIXED!

I just notice that a bass track has triplicate midi notes. I have no idea how that happenned. I guess I'll have to chalk it up to some kind of user error. Is there a CAL program that gets rid of these?..

Moving Clip is "shakey" here

When I grab the top portion of a clip and move it, snap on, the clip is very shakey or jittery when you have the mouse button pressed down and are hovering or moving the clip. This didn't happen in X1, and seems like a bug of some sort. Is this happening to anyone else?..
