Overloud- TH2 and Console Emulation

For those folks that play electric guitar and have heard some of the other console emulation out there. I'm curious whether there seems to be a correlation in those who like/dislike the sound of TH2 and the Console Emulation since both were done by Overloud. Do you like the sound of both? Neither? ..

Ducking the snare

I am mixing my song, and the snare, which sounds great most the time, obscures the singers words when they sound at the same time. Is this a job for a ducker? What fx do I use to accomplish this? kerkenat..

I installed all the components of X2 as recommended. Where is R-MIX? Can't find it anywhere...

X2 and T racks Pultec

I use the T Racks Vintage EQ module (Pultec) as an fx on nearly everything I do (I play acoustic guitar mainly). It's causing X2 to crash though, but only at the end of the project, or if I stop it during play. I just wondered if anyone out there has any instructions or ideas on how to cure this, so..

I have just done a minimal install of X2 on my laptop so I can get used to over the next week while I am traveling. What a pleasure the authorization is compared to most other software these days...

Copy & Paste in the PRV

In all previous versions, it was easy enough to select a range of Midi notes, copy, and paste them to wherever the Now time was situated In X2, the paste always goes into the same measure, irrespective of where the Now time is. Edit > Paste Special doesn't bring up a dialog box anymore, Edit > Copy ..

Hi all, I now have a problem , I am on win XP and would like to upgrade to win 7. The problem is that I have a yamaha 01x control surface which has drivers up to win XP but no higher (discontinued). If I upgrade to win 7 so I remain supported by Cakewalk and move up to X2 my yamaha control surface w..

New projects sound strange....HELP

Hey guys. I'm using Sonar 8 and I've got a strange problem. I woke up today and all the new projects I start sound dull....as if there was a high-cut filter on the master channel. At this point would you guys say X2 is as stable or more stable than X1?

If it is working well enough for basic stuff with minimal crashes I might install it tonight or tomorrow. Cheers...
