Why no limiter?

Just curious why Producer, with many refinements worthy of using as a mastering program, doesn't include a limiter or clipping effect, other than paying extra for the brick wall limiter? Would have been a nice addition for X2. A harmonic exciter would be nice also...

First X2 Crash

Ok I found that if I click on my Master's buss realtime db reading I get a crash. Its happing with an existing project. I did open a new project and It did not happen, I also opened this project in x1 and it did not crash, The only thing different is I added a few Console Ems, an instance of breverb..

The annoying jumpy console view. Still there.....

How many of you have the tracks in the console view jump away every time you open the PC? This is another holdover bug from X1. Annoying! So far aside from that, unfriendly colors and the draw issue, Very cool software...

X2 bug (?) and workaround: Isolating take lanes in PRV

From a take lane you may right click the clip icon on top right of the take lane clip and select "show in PRV".. only to be very surprised that the PRV is track based and will show the midi content of all takes in that overlapping each other, making it near impossible to isolate a take for edit... X2 - Bad quantization after pasting

When I copy the midi clip subjected to quantization, and paste it in another place, I have to quantize it again, because the notes to "drift". Cakewalk, please fix this bug...

32bit Sonar with 64bit win 7

I'd like to use Sibelius with Sonar but they don't see each other unless they are both 32-bit. So I want to install 32-bit Sonar X1 on win 7 x64. But wouldnt there be a ram limitation? How do I get over the ram limitation? J-bridge it?..

[workaround post 13 but still failing sometimes] TH2 Plugin fails to load

Install went ok but when I tried to load the Overloud TH2 is says the plug in not installed correctly and crashes. I tried rebooting, rescanning vsts, removing the th2 files and reinstalling just that from the x2 setup running the setup as admin. I am running it in a new project as well a an existin..

Eradicating duplicated notes with different lengths

In the PRV I had a piece with several crotchet and quaver notes with several crotchet rests between. I needed these stretching to at least minims but rather than pulling the end of the notes, I drew new notes over the top of the old notes. Sometimes these new notes play and other times the old not..
