X2 & Faderport problems - possible Midi Device name related?

Symphonic Strings

I downloaded the free Digital Sound Factory Symphonic Strings files obtained as part of the pre-purchase package of Sonar X2. Have all the sample files downloaded - probably a stupid question, but how do I use them? Do I have to create a map manually or can they load into a synth?..

I swear, every year. Can anyone tell me why my exe files for Sonar Producer X2 won't run?

God it's soooooooo frustrating. It won't let me "run as adminastrator" It's just a f988ing exe file. Help please Ryan. Dan Hollars..

I'm the first @ X2 installers - are you getting some too?

Can't install X2 - no file types - NEED STAFF HELP HERE!

I downloaded the X2 files today, all of them. There is a file named: 01_Read_This_First. I try to open it and i get prompted to select a program to use. I tried a txt file and that was obviously wrong. I saw another post wich says to rename with a ".exe" extention, did that and i get a weird message..

Early X2 adopters: any changes in Staff View?

To my knowledge, Staff View wasn't mentioned in the promos, and there were no comments from Cakewalk in threads about it. If this has been improved, I will upgrade. Thanks...
