My short ProChannel modules review: PC76: Not the best 1176 I've got but I use it all the time. Easy & predictable & likable. My hardware 1176 sounds more authentic (surprise) but it has much higher noise floor and it's not as easy to clone as PC76. Expander/Gate: Sonitus:Gate is still my favorit..

Midi not working??

I've previously only used Sonar for recording audio, but today decided to do some midi composing. I'm only getting certain notes to play, sometimes just the first one only. At the moment I'm using the Cakew. sound center, and I got a few notes to play, then added some more and none of the new notes ..

Activated mp3 horrible!!!

Finally activated the mp3 encoder, at a cost....and its awful! Distorts etc. Going back to my old method of exporting as WAV and converting using another program (I've NCH switch and cakewalk pyro...switch seems good for a free program). Wonder if Sonar will refund the dosh (UK slang for money)!..

Sonar X1: scanning folder on startup, can it be avoded?

Hi When I start my Sonar X1, it decides to scan for softsaynths etc every time....and I have to sit there and answer "activate, deactivate..." for a laaaaarge number of softsynths. The whole procedure easily takes 10 or more minutes, and I have to sit tere and wait... It seems strange that this need..

Low note sustain disappears

I have a MIDI piano track that I send to NI Akoustik Piano, but when I render it to audio, the sustain on some of the left hand notes disappears. When I send the MIDI to TTS, this doesn't happen, but the Akoustik Piano sounds alot better. Why would that be? kerkenat..
