Do I need to upgrade to Windows 7/8 for Sonar X2?

I'm currently a Sonar X1 user and I love the program so I jumped in and pre ordered X2 without really thinking. According to the system requirements it is only "officially supported" on Windows version 7/8. Does this mean it will not run on my current Windows vista? Any info from anyone with better ..

Adding notes in PRV without changing play cursor pos?

I know I can switch to the draw freehand tool instead of the smart tool, but then I'd lose the ability to quickly change velocities and note start/durations. Just looking for some way to set the "play from" point without it changing on me if I add a note by double clicking with the smart tool...

Large delay when toggling metronome?

Don't know why this is, but when I toggle either record or play metronome I get a large delay, like 5 seconds. The whole audio engine seems to halt for that period. I flip the metronomes on/off a lot, some things like touchy feely piano parts no click, other times I flip the play metro just to ch..

Another thing with the FX bin: The ON/OFF button is not linked with the vst button. They opperate independantly of each other which can make things confusing. Why not link them? Steve..
