Record Last Take Question

HI All I was watching something to do with Logic Pro a while back,and I noticed it had a cool feature and I wondered if Sonar had anything similar. I don't know if the title is correct but if you are playing say a guitar over backings,and played something fantastic but forgot to press record,no prob..

Levelling Amp or Compressor?

Hi All Can anyone tell me what is the difference between a Levelling Amplifier,and a Compressor. Is either better than the other,and what are they used for? We are talking Plugins. Thanks Alan..

synth question

hi, i have a m-audio 49 key controller, it worked fine with SONAR 6 but i just tried it in X-1. when i open the TTS-1 i get sound from the little note symbol at the bottom of the slider but nothing when i play the keyboard. SONAR "sees" the controller because i see the little thing in the task bar b..

Well I have to work so I will miss the Webinar. Sure hope Cake can put this up for viewing a little quicker than webinars in the past. Probably not, but I can hope for a faster turn around....

changing between console and track view

I'm coming from Producer 6, pretty ancient for sure, but I was used to using hotkeys to move quickly between console and track view. So far both views seem compressed onto the same screen and my monitor only shows a peek of each. Outside of getting a newer higher res monitor, is there a way to have ..

synth question

ok, so far so good, i've managed to actually get the keyboard to work however when i open a synth i not only get whatever sound i want (organ, strings etc.) but i also get a drum sound, how do i get rid of that? like i said i'm not a synth guy but i do like adding piano and things. again, thanks so ..
