Getting occasional engine stops cropping during playback...

Maybe I'm just pushing Sonar a little too far but I've gotten the audio engine stop messages while chasing the now time meter cropping clips. Essentially I'm just removing the beginnings of clips up to the point I want to use while Sonar is playing. Doesn't happen every time and it doesn't crash any..

Creative audio editing in Sonar 8...?

Hey, guys... What's the best way to creatively edit audio in Sonar 8??? Is there a way to create pitch(or whatever) envelopes and such on an audio track so as to be able to creatively twist up your audio as it plays.
