Trying out effects leads to crashes of X1d Studio

is it possible to loop clips without using "groove clip looping"?

what i'm doing is trying to loop a clip of ocean waves for a film - the problem is that it keeps trying to sync to tempo i think. Obviously tempo is rather unimportant with that. Should I be using ASIO driver?

The only way to see my interface is when I use WDM/KS driver. I just updated the interface and driver so I guess that's what I need to use. The ASIO driver is for the realtec on the MB. Naming Clips?

How does one put names on the clips in Track View? In 8.5 and before you could double click the clip and type in the name at the top of the window. In X1 you can name a clip in the Inspector View but it doesn't show up on the clip itself. I can't find anything in the Help file either. Thanks! Steve..
