Editing blacks out waveform

I'm a newbie at editing and am having problems trying to remove parts of an audio clip and then tying the rest of it together. When going through muting, erasing, deleting, and moving operations, I have managed to turn the clip completely black and can no longer see the wafeform. When this happened ..

hi is it possible to change the tempo of an existing audiofile (stereofile ) in bpm? not percent? like the slip tool? i have a song (stereofile ) in tempo 120 , now i need this song in tempo 100 ,, i remember in older versions was a plugin called time and lenght? but now i dont find a short way to ..

How Do You Set Levels for Freeze?

Before freezing, I set levels basically like i would for recording. I turn automation off, set the track to freeze at nominal (0db), and freeze. If the level does not peak high enough, I increase fader, change instrument level, etc. to get a strong signal. Do others do this?..

Is the price for X1 upgrades going up or just the price of X2 after August 31?

I was already considering going X1 Producer when X2 was announced and now with this buy now and get a free upgrade promo going I just want to make sure that I don't get charged extra for X1 when I really only care about X1 right now...

Trouble with Exporting

When I export a mixdown the only thing that I get is the audio files. You have to render all midi to audio before you can export a mix? I tried to render the midi to audio but I'm not seeing how... My soundcard doesn't have a loopback feature. Bounce to clips made my midi track using the arp into ha..

Crash when using nudge solution?

Just got Sonar X1 Producer a couple days ago, loving it so far. However, when in the piano roll, Sonar will crash if I nudge a note. It started happening as soon as I turned on "follow snap settings" in nudge preferences. If I leave that off I can nudge all I want, but I'd like to nudge select..

Do nothing keybind doesn't seem to work?

I'm trying to un-fubar the step record dialog so I can enter patterns, I've bound all the screenset 1-9 keys to "Do nothing: Use to override..." but when I press the number keys they still grab the keys so I can't use number keys to enter patterns in step record. Is this another bug or am I doing..

keyboard midi controller question

hello I plan to buy a A-300 pro (Cakewalk/Roland) keyboard for Sonar X1 does it work as shown in the ACT videos (synth, effect, console control)? can it control the transport ? it is supposed to work well with Sonar, could it be a good choice ???..
