How to record a MIDI CC?

I have in my VST soft synth a sax voice which responds to MIDI CC 27 (it controls the sax vibrato). So I would record it as in automation, moving some knob or slider while playing. Is it possible?..

does anybody else get a creative block when trying to sequence electronic drums in sonar?

and by electronic i simply mean like this synth-pop era type drums... None of the kits in dimension or superior are useable for dance/pop so you end up having to use the clumsy browser to try and preview and import samples... I just end up making a placeholder beat and then making drums in another p..

I think from all my research on how to do something I know a lot of us would want to know how to do that I have finally figured out a way to use existing functionality inside sonar to play live and switch patches on amp sims and synths without a need to use cantabile or forte. Auto Infinite Track Add!!

Here's a new one. I bounced two Melodyne vocal tracks. As I was listening to check the first one, Sonar starting adding new tracks by itself and would not stop. I finally shut Sonar down in Task Manager about the time it got up to 70-80 new tracks. What the heck happened?..

Do you guys think Sonar is going to work on Windows 8 tablets?

I'm considering Jamaica or something.. at the end of the year... quite possibly late jan or feb I'm curious to know.. Will Windows 8 tablets run the Metro and Desktop situations of Windows 8, and do you reckon Sonar, and my other software's would run strong enough to do a little recording.. if I act..

File, Edit, View Missing! Can't right click!

So I was unfreezing a midi track to change something, as Superior Drummer was loading the samples, Sonar 7 crashed, when I opened it back up the only thing showing across the top is "options" & "help" ... options lets me open the menu editor but there is nothing in the editor to choose from & I can ..

XI Producer Waveforms say "busy"... no sound...Sound Forge works fine

Hadn't used Cakewalk for a week, but it ran smoothly for 6 months. Just tried to open file and waveforms say (busy) and no sound. Loaded Sonar demo file with same result. I used to use Jammer a long time ago... Anyone using it with 64bit X1 and win7? They have a drummer program too... I forgot, what is mfx? It's still native to X1?..
