Volume Envelope on just a clip?

Is there a way to add a volume envelope to just one clip and not the whole track? In my previous DAW I would just split a track then add an envelope only to the spit section, partly just to keep the envelope clutter down. I really wish I could just right click on a clip and select "volume envelope"...
