X1 pauses when I move vsti controls for the first time

Hello, I have a problem with controlling VSTi in SONAR X1. Every time I tweak any of VSTi controls (like "cutoff" in Minimonsta) the playback stops for a split second. Hi, About to go into a studio that has Pro Tools, can I transfer work already done from Sonar into Pro Tools ? And if so, when I transfer, will it go into individual tracks just like Sonar ? Thanks John..
