Best way to increase tempo

I need to increase the tempo of a song, which is in the form of a single stereo wave file, including a vocal. I followed the Sonar instructions to first turn it into a Groove Clip Loop, and then inserted a tempo change in the Project Tempo dialog box. I got a terrible result: actually a slower tempo..

Did lifetime updates to SPLAT get rescinded somehow?

I ask because I don't come here often, but I cannot find the "infinity symbol" that used to be in my account. Am I just missing it somewhere, or did Cakewalk walk back the lifetime updates somehow?..

I have Sonar Artist and am having some compatibility\crashing issues when I use my favorite compressor plugin (Pro-C by Fabfilter) and I think it's because it's 32bit. Is there a 32 bit version of Sonar Artist somewhere? I can't seem to find it if there is. I am running Win10...

Snap in PRV?

Did I forget yet this too? What's going on. when I toggle snap on/off in the PRV, global gets toggled, but not PRV snap? Is there a new shortcut that I can't find to toggle both? It seems snap doesn't toggle in the PRV via the N key alone...
