Staff View?

I've only just started working with the staff view, but one thing that's making it not great IMO is I can't seem to find a way to lay it out like it's on the sheet of paper rather than continuously horizontal like in PRV. Is there a way I'm missing even after reading through the documents?..

I frequently split a midi clip in Track View in order to copy/paste the clip into another track or location. But very often the midi notes in the clip are obscured "behind" numerous continuous controllers which appear in "front" of the notes. That makes it difficult to see where ..

Record Clip Option

This is kind of difficult to explain, but I am sure there is a simple solution to my question. How do I get midi information to begin recording only at the point I begin playing? For example, I press the "record" button at measure 11. I need to hear the music one measure before I begin playing at me..

How do I force Sonar to stop using a VST 3 when a VST 2 is available?

I cannot seem to find some sort of control for this under the VST section of preferences....how does one determine which version is being used in a project? Do I ahve to actually delete the VST3 from the Common folder? thanks..

[Solved] How to separate multiple songs on one project file

I did some live recording this week and have one Sonar project file that has 4 songs on it. How do I separate them into individual files so I can work on them? Each song is 7 tracks. I can easily do it, if it was only one track but with 7?..
